In-house team development
Team development does not occur naturally, and requires regular attention and practice. To strengthen teams requires putting time aside outside of the daily project tasks to work on the communication and relationship development of its members. Research indicates that 75% of a projects result will hinge on the communication and information sharing amongst team members. Team development is no longer an optional extra, but a fundamental determinant of project success.
We have a proven track record of providing facilitated team development workshops that strengthen teams in the following areas;
- Communication and relationship development
- Addressing team conflict and performance problems
- Improving team morale and satisfaction in the workplace
- Developing team work plans and aligning with organisational strategic directions
Workshops are typically conducted as half-day or one-day workshops. Workshops can occur as one-off events, but implementation and follow through is greatly enhanced when conducting 2-3 workshops over a 6 to 12 month period. Each workshop will identify an action plan that can be reviewed at follow up workshops.
A free 1hr consult is provided to team leaders/managers prior to any workshop, to assist in targeting the workshop agenda.
Group facilitation
There are many situations and meetings that can benefit from the use of an external facilitator. Such events include; network meetings, team work plan meetings, conferences, critical incident debriefing, case review meetings, guest speaker, etc.
Our professional group facilitators are particularly useful if needing an independent contributor, or needing additional expertise when facilitating high level groups or events.
